I remeber in 8th grade, during football season, it was the last game that I was going to play at. My partner in crime, and I wanted to play a certain song that we would hear the high school tubas would play. But we were not sure of the notes. We silently played the B flat scale and found out that some of the notes sounded the same. During the fourth quarter, we played "our" verison of it and our director looked at us like we were crazy. We were swinging and going crazy with this song. After we had our fun, he gave it to us. All I could do was look down and my partner just smiled. When I think about it, I was shy then and I proved to my partner that I could be wild like all the other tubas.
