Double ditto on what Doug said. You're only 32, right? I learned french horn starting at age 45, and all the clefs that go with it. If I can do it, you can do it. You'll open up whole new worlds of playing opportunities. It's not really a big deal if you don't make it into one. As Nike says, Just Do It! Immersion is the best way.
