When my Son took lessons from a well known trombone player, Art Sares, he suggested that my Son use Twinkle to clean the inside of his mouthpiece. Every lesson Mr. Sares would inspect the inside of his mpc to make sure it was clean and shiny. I personally don't polish my mpc that often but do wash it out often with soap and water (and mpc brush).
