I use a PT-50 on my MW 2145 (a front-action piston horn), and I feel the m/p gives me all the control, dynamics, range, etc., that I need. It is a very satisfactory m/p for the 2145.
In terms of your question, however, I can't comment on the Laskey 30H. I've never played one. Seems to me that there have been many favorable comments about the 30H on this board.
