Just a piece of advice... do not over-commit to a pieve just because 'the name'. I've run into problems where I committed to playing pieces because of the composer/piece and ended up with a little more work than I wanted OR had a terrible recital... Just a thought... play a piece YOU like, not anyone else...
I would stray away from anything long or multi-movements because
a.) tons of time in the practice room
b.) very tiring recital
c.) college auditions are 15 mins at most and they don't want to hear the 18 minute long J. Williams concerto

Also consider an etude of some kind. Master a Kopprasch or Blazevich and make it as musical as a solo and I guarentee you that the audition commitee will be impressed.
