About 2 weeks ago I posted that I had recently graduated from high school and moved to Tucson and needed a tuba for the summer. Well, I found one, a King 4-valver, cereal number 937570. So, with that number, what can you tell me about the tuba?

The place I rented it from valued it at 4000 dollars, but taking off a dollar for every dent on it, I'd say its worth about 800 dollars. There is no way I would pay $4000 for it, but it plays, so that's great. I'm glad my three week tuba hiatus is over, it sure is fun to play again.

Oh yeah, the guy gave me a Belmonce (?) 24AW mouthpiece, at least that is what is engraved. What can you tell me about that?

Let me know what kind of tuba and mouthpiece I have if you can, and thanks to everyone who helped me out in finding something to play.

Dan
