I've heard nothing but good things about Steve, and the quality of his students is a true testament to the quality of his teaching... HOWEVER, if you're going to Australia, I suggest getting in touch with Susan Bradley in Sydney for at least one lessons. Sue is a wonderfully versatile musician(she's played in everything from 'junk bands' on sousaphone to period orchestras on serpent, aside from the more traditional gigs), and an all-around delightful person.
