I think it was said better even farther below...the problem is that you are supposed to blow, not suck.
Anyway, pull out some easy stuff and just rip through it and have some fun playing again. Forget the 16th notes, just enjoy making music for a few weeks and remind yourself why playing the tuba is so great. It sucks working too hard and not enjoying the playing...there is no progress in playing full of frustration.
