Play through it, sometimes a bull in a china shop mentality is necessary! Being pissed off can be a motivating tool if you think of it that way. However not much good comes from practicing wrong, as long as you practice wrong, your playing wrong. I have found out recently that being pissed off has kept me from slowing down the alegro con brilo to Egmont, and of course what was pissing me off was dragging the tempo! It also helped me to add emotion to the ending, ones extremities should tingle at the end of an emotional piece, I could do without the light headedness at the end though. I have yet to play that fast that loud without it.
Just my opinion and I'm sure proffesionals will see it differently.
