There was an episode of Magnum PI where there was some event taking place at the estate and Tom Selleck and John Hillerman were walking and there was this guy stiing there outside warming up on the tuba. They gave him a funny look and walked on. I think they had a real player in this one because he was in there for such a short time and they only showed him sitting there playing.
