There was an old advent/christmas kiddies show on norwegian telly called 'Jul i Skomakergata' (=Christmas in Shoemaker Street) where the lead character (obviously a shoemaker) was a hobby tubaplayer and had his tuba on display in the shop window. He played a few tunes now and again as well, I think it was a youthful Stein-Erik Tafjord (of the Brazz Bros) who played.
There was also another, more recent advent/christmas show, also on norwegian telly, where the lead characters got together and sang and played quite often, and on occasions one of them would pick up a really old helicon. It sounded absolutely atrocious, so it could well have been the actor playing it :^)
