I tried the 52e2 and found it a little too deep for me. If you decide to buy one of these please let me know. I have one in goldplate with about 15 or 20 hours playing time on it. This mouthpiece makes a very dark sound and is very good in the low regester, however for a player such as myself (ameteur community band guy who plays less than one hour daily) notes in the high end were too difficult. I have always favored deeper cups, but a 51d is about as deep as I can tolerate. If you spend a lot of time playing and you are using a large bore instrument this mp could be ideal for you.
