There are MANY great recordings of "The Planets", but I'm sure that the one that you just mentioned may be the best bargain of them all. Frankly, I've heard few of them where the tuba playing wasn't good - mainly because the part is so well written, I think. You can REALLY hear John Fletcher on Previn's first recording for EMI. Another great one is the Yoel Levi/Atlanta Symphony one on Telarc, and you'll hear plenty of tuba on this one as well. If one is mainly concerned about the conducting involved, I suppose that Sir Adrian Boult's last one on EMI's "Great Recordings Of The Century" series could be considered to be definitive. It comes with his last recoridng of the "Enigma Variations" too, so you get to hear lots of tuba on this disc as well (they're both with the London Phil). Great piece - hard to lose, I think.
