Dan, I have a Conn 28k (entirely gold plated) of 1924. I think, it's of some historical value, but not being a former famous tubist's horn in the way you are interested in.
My investigations revealed, that it was ordered by the Keller brothers who played in the Reading Railraod Band that in turn was partly conducted by Sousa himself.
