Jamie's Sander tuba has a bell garland that fell off during the annealing process. He told me that was a real challenge to get it back on. The horn is presently resting comfortably underneath the grand piano in Jamie and Sharen's living room. Jamie is presently enjoying a second retirement (from his position as Director of Education of Brevard Music Center)combined with a third career as a repair tech.
Chuck...the last time I saw you was at Brevard in 1980, with a can of zip-strip in your hand, struggling to get the lacquer off of your Marzan. Remember that?
