It's asked because what if you bought a horn sight unseen off the Internet and then found out it was HP? Could you save it by adding tubing to an HP Eb instrument to make an LP CC, or cut tubing on an HP BBb to make an LP CC?
Would you still get intonation quirks as on the BBb HP - BBb LP conversions? Do you get the same sort of quirks with an Eb HP - Eb LP conversion??
