I may not have as heavy a say in these things (I'm 14) but I enjoy this recording very much. I don't think it is at all tuba heavy. I mean, the Chicago Brass Quintet was composd of five outstanding, strong players. If Arnold used a small F or even a big one for that matter, he would have been swallowed alive. And plus, it's nice hearing a (really) big tuba hit all those high notes.
