I agree with "If it aint broke then dont fix it". But if they do wear and get clanky youll have the option of having an easily maintained system that is either working or broken.Plus these are cheap and relatively common parts.The only thing ill say in favor of is i went to them on my Perantucci and suddenly I didnt need a screwdriver in my bag.Its a pain to me to tweak the tension on those ball and sockets.
