I agree. Craig would be far and away my first choice for someone in the original poster's position. I've heard him play and been present at one of his master classes and have been totally blown away each time. He's an uncommonly musical musician(very lyrical in a world of overly bombastic players) and strikes me as unusually smart and soft spoken by tuba playing standards. I find his playing very inspirational. Also, you could turn around and hear him play in an orchestra on a regular basis too.
