...it's a fine mouthpiece (I have one in the collection), it's pretty large, and in my opinion, more of an "all-around" mouthpiece, rather than something designed strictly for solo playing. If memory serves me right, Jim Self designed it so that he could play the same pouthpiece on both CC and F.
