I don't consider a couple of pitches in the F tuba 5-valve system "possible" when they are 35 c. away from where they belong, and the slides controlling those pitches won't shove in short enough (or long enough) to compensate...or if possible, it's extremely inconvenient.
Shouldn't student clarinets only be offered with only 4 holes (and no mechanisms) to make the kids good and "tough"?
