It is really best to temporarily part with your prize-rimmed mouthpiece for a few days (weeks) whilst your mouthpiece maker takes their own careful measurements of it.
I.O.W., Let the mouthpiece maker measure your rim himself. That way (even though you might measure quite accurately indeed) little or nothing (if he's a true craftsman) will be "lost in the translation".
