I was the proud recipient of the Bob Barr Scholarship to the Brevard Music Center in 1979 and 1980. Mr. Barr was incapacitated by a stroke and was wheelchair bound. While not able to communicate verbally, his face said it all. A true gentleman. I remember his wife bringing him to alot of Jamie Hafners Wind Ensemble rehearsal when we were in Whittington-Pfhol. Thanks for what you have done for him!!! He is well remembered.
