I think you will find that they buy the same valve blocks abd use them on all their tubas, they use the same compensatine valve block in both EEb and BBb, as they have done for years. So the Comp. BBb is 18mm bore as is the EEb, but the front action EEb is 19mm bore, as per the front action BBb, CC. It's a question of economics!
