Ever have the urge to blow a few notes late in the evening when the kids have gone to bed and the Missus is watching CSI?
Practicing low G and high Bb late at night is not always conducive to domestic bliss so I�ve been thinking about cobbling together a practice mute for my horn. I know that any mute will have some affect on intonation, but that�s the least of my worries right now. I�m thinking about a do-it-yourself project, as my recreational playing doesn�t warrant the investment in more equipment.
I�ve gone through the archives and found a few interesting suggestions, but I�m looking for some more input on ways to keep the noise down and domestic harmony up. So, any experiences or suggestions you�d like to share?
