My parents recently moved from their home of 40 years. One of the relics they unearthed was my first tuba mouthpiece, an "ALL*STAR BB BASS." It tastes nasty because a lot of the plating is worn off, but seems to be an OK all-purpose mouthpiece, especially in the mid and upper ranges.
Can anybody tell me anything about this brand of mouthpiece, i.e., when and where and by whom they were made?
