Last night, our local symphony had its annual free summer concert, and the regular tuba player just so happens to have a 4/4 York, c.1928, that I had the pleasure of listening to extensively. It had the characteristic York sound, but it didn't seem as big as it did last year. Of course, a Jupiter 382 makes a euph look big...
