You miss my point. Yes we need more original works, but Bach, especially in his keyboard and "theoretical pieces" transcribes and even thrives so beautifully in other media. These pieces challenge the sensibilities and tastes of all musicians. We can all "tell our stories in sound" through J.S. Bach transcriptions in a way that few other composers provide. It bothers me that CB shows no interest in playing, recording, let alone commissioning original works. But they applied themselves 100% and more to J.S. Bach, so thank them for THAT, and buy the damn CD.
