There is an amazing lack of recordings by this great composer. His music is beautiful and just plain fun to play. Wonderful wind music and quite a lot of chamber mucis for brass. He also was an early pioneer in electronic music. I posted a similar request for a recording of his Suite for Tuba some time ago....with no response. The music is out there (over 40 hit's from Robert King [http://www.rkingmusic.com/]), but I'm not finding a lot of recordings. This looks like a REAL opportunity!! Note: if you like Nelhybel, then you must own Reference Recordings #RR-52 ,[http://www.referencerecordings.com/], contains a great recording of TRITTICO, by Nelhybel, plus works by Giannini, Albéniz, Grieg and Dello Joio."Best Classical Album of 1993" (NAIRD Indie Award).
