Does anyone out there have information on a tuba player named Jay McAllister. I have two recordings that he plays on, Stan Kenton's "Cuban Fire" and a brass quintet recording that I don't recall the title off hand. His sound is wonderful on these recordings. Does anyone have biographical info,has anyone studied with him, is he still alive, if so does he still play or teach?
