The best thing you can do is save your money. The chances of finding a "decent" CC or F tuba under $2000 is next to zero. Just yesterday, a used Conn 3J closed on eBay for over $2300. Before you set your budget, know what the market is like. You may have to settle for a horn that is a "fixer upper" to stay within your budget...
