Just as a side note since I didn't really answer any question:
There are guys that *always* articulate against the back of the upper lip. Others articulate like a trumpet player and others slowly transition from one extreme to the other as they move through their range. All of 'em sound fine.
I predict that the dizzy tingly thing will go away on it own.
