I may buy a used Besson tuba, EE flat. What were the top of the line models before the sovereigns? In advertisements I have often seen these different descriptions: Imperial, large bell, or 700 series for different instruments. What are the differences and which is the best? By the way, is a three-valve compensating tuba more in tune than a four-valve (as was suggested in the past on this BBS)? Thanks from a prospective buyer.
