After oiling piston valves, could certain formulas of valve oil irritate the lungs and bronchial area if the fumes are taken in while playing the tuba? I try to take in air from outside the instrument, but a small amount of air comes back through the horn, particularly when snatching a big/fast breath. I use coventional oils such as Al Cass, Bach, Yamaha, etc. Any comments?
