The Sanders "Imperial" is a copy of an older B&S design that is
produced in China for Custom Music. Custom gets slammed now and again
in this forum but I think they have done a really good job on this
horn. They worked with the Chinese for several years to get the
design and quality up to standards. I've played four of them and
thought they were all very decent horns. It's a good horn for wind
band and, as BBflats go, a good quintet horn. I don't know what the
current price is, but 5/6 years ago they were $3100 with an ok case.
