I am in somewhat desperate need for an F tuba to continue my tuba studies. I have been playing on this old Alex BBb 4 valve rotary (c. 80 years old...) for several years now as my primary (only) horn but recently purchased a CC, which is now my primary horn.

I love this Alex: AWESOME tone, huge sound, acceptable intonation for an Alex (vented first valve to make it all much easier), good valve action (original TINY spatulas replaced with a more modern Mirafone spatula/spring set for better playability). Most of the horn is lacquered, a few medium sized dents on the bottom bow, one tiny dent on the tuning slide, the expected scratched for an 80 year old horn.

Here's the kicker: I'm looking to trade straight across (or with the smallest amount of cash involved as possible) for an F. This is dictated by my financial situation. I'm not too picky about the F I trade for, as long as it is at least 5 valves and in good playing order. Pictures of this Alex will be available in just a couple days.
