I agree with you that the big Cervenys are really good horns. I had a Cerveny 601-5MR CC 5/4 tuba that could really pave the road in large orchestral works. I have heard that the newer Cerveny "Piggy" 5 rotor CC tubas are also very good, especially for opera work.
