A few on my list of favorite endings are:

- Stravinsky, The Firebird (80's recording BSO, Ozawa)
- Mahler, 2nd and 5th Symphony (SFO's for #2, Blomstedt, NY Phil, Mehta)
- Prokofiev, 5th Symphony (Montreal Sym., Dutoit. Chicago Sym., Levine
- Saint-Saens, 3rd Symphony (Organ)(Chicago Sym., Barenboim "70's" recording)(SFO's)
- C. Nielson, 2nd and 4th Symphony's (SFO's)
- R. Strauss, Death & Transfiguration (Not big, but very nice)(NY Phil. Sinopoli)
- Holst, The Planets, "Mars" (Montreal Symphony, Dutoit)
* Special mention for ALL of the LA Phil, Mehta. 1973? Tommy Johnson & Roger Bobo, Ouch!*
- Shostakovich, 10th Symphony, 2nd movement (Cleveland Orch., Dohnanyi)(not a last movement or end of a piece, but kicks butt anyway)
- Tchiakovsky, Swan Lake (Montreal Symphony)
- Sibelius, Finlandia (Boston Symphony, Ashkenazy)
