That is the guy (Horby) that I sat next to. He is a good player and I'm glad to hear he is doing well. I did not know he was that young at the time (I guess a freshman), because the rest of the section seemed to be made up of "fifth" year guys like me and Jason S. that also posted on this thread. If I were still suffering in Florida I would be interested in your school as I had some good students who would be nearing college age in a few years. I am glad to see Russ Ward doing well, even though I don't personally know him, it is good to see that he could stick it through the changing climate of the music scene in Orlando. I remember that town supporting more full time tuba players than almost anywhere else in north america but now it barely might support a handfull.
