As long as we are throwing out ideas for materials to rest our horns on I would like to suggest the foam matting intended for drying dishes on. It's available at most grocery stores and comes in lots of colors and sizes to fit your tastes and readily rolls up inside your bell when on the go. Another benefit is that because of the holes in it it works well on the bottom of your shower when you are cleaning out your horns. Keeps horn and tub from getting scuffed up yet allows water to flow through. Dries out fairly easy afterwords too.
