Our concert band is playing Tannhauser this season. Our version was arranged by V. F. Safranek and is in the key of F. Because of time constraints, we skip from "L" to "M". At "B", it's in cut time but he directs it 4. Our band numbers about 75 members and we have 6 basses and 8 trombones. All the low brass enjoy this number, it's rich and majestic. Of course, the tubas give it life. Enjoy.
