For any scientists out there they may now get confused when ITEA is mentioned.
International Testing and Evaluation Associaition is already in existance. Even though it may not be any more well known than the new T.U.B.A. name, it already has published journals (which are much better than TUBA's). Although "brotherhood" and the existing name may not be professional sounding, I don't think it was in their best interest to copy the ITG and the ITA. Just my thoughts.
