The old Miraphone 2C was a funnel type m.p. that was somewhat bigger than the Conn 7B Helleberg. I really liked the sound that I got on that m.p., but lost mine many years ago. Can anybody suggest something that is real close to that particular piece? I have tried the Conn 2's, but I just don't like the bite and feel of the rim. I know that there about a million PT's out there, but there's no place to really go try them here on the left coast. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars either.
