Steve, I'm sure you mean TUBA/ITEA (not ITEC).
However, the point is that the name of the organization is not
TUBA/ITEA. It is now ITEA .... It was (past tense) Tubists Universal
Brotherhood Association. I don't mind saying that I'm disappointed
with the outcome of the SECOND election for the name change; yes,
there was a FIRST name-change election not so very long ago, when the
membership voted to retain its identity as T.U.B.A.
So now the precedent has been set ...
If you don't like the outcome of the previous election,
(or if some politally-correct "academic" had
his feelings hurt that someone SMIRKED when T.U.B.A. was
mentioned.)
