Josh, I'm glad you explained the situation. If selling the horn is what you want to do, then do it. You know what horns go for, and if at some point you want to play again, you know how much they cost and what's out there. It's not like the manufacturers are going to stop making instruments. You also probably have a better understanding of what to look for according to your musical needs, and that self- realization will get better as you get older. I understand the posters who say don't sell your horn, but we aren't in your position today. This BBS will still be here when you start playing again, as will tubas.There's always good advice here.
