Carbon fiber in tubas

I know that carbon fiber has been used in instruments for a while. I've seen articles about graphite trombone slides and the graphite Getzen G50 tuba bell option. Graphite has been used in guitars and basses for quite a while; I have a Modulus Quantum 6-string bass guitar with a graphite neck and love it. Status is making basses with graphite one-piece neck and body configurations.

Does anyone know of anyone's experiments with making more of a tuba from carbon fiber composites than just the bell? Bows, valves, casings, leadpipes, mouthpieces, etc.?
