I went to Dillon Music last night and bought that sweet little Miraphone F. I am a happy camper. Though I'm currently a very crappy tubist by most of the standards to be found on this BBS (well, by most any standards), I'm really looking forward to making this little gal sing. I think it has just the sound I've been looking for. It seems to be exquisitely crafted as well.
Matt Walters was perfectly delightful and helpful during the transaction. He let me sit there for 2 hours trying about a dozen different mouthpieces. I finally settled on the Shilke 66.
