I have 2 Denis Wick tuba mutes NOS (new old stock) I need to sell. I tried them both on a 4/4 CC which they fit very nicely and, by adding the extra cork, will fit 5/4 size horns as well. I tried one of them with my Meinl Weston 2000 and the response was very good throughout the horn. A good metallic muted sound with no stuffy notes at all. If I didn't already own 5 mutes (don't ask!), I'd keep one of these.
