Deciding which college to go to was a very difficult decision. There were two primary factors that caused me to go to Eastman. Working with Don Harry was an incredible experience. He is a wonderful person and teacher, and I was able to learn a great deal from him. The second factor for my decision was the other students and faculty that were there. At the audition, the tour guides talked about the “Eastman Community” as having great people who you would work with for the rest of your career in the music field. From day one at school I met people who would become some of my closest friends. For me, I could not have asked to work with and be around a better group of people.
