When polishing silver instruments, try to stay away from wadding polish and any kind of polish that leaves a residue behind. I've been using Wright's, and I'm always careful to rinse in warm water after polishing. If I don't, then my hands and my tux shirt get all icky and black rather quickly.
Mike, who quickly figured out that "Never-Dull Magic Wadding Polish" was too good to be true, and who now has a new tux shirt too.
